Tucked away in the theatre district of Hyehwa, Hak

Tucked away in the theatre district of Hyehwa, Hakrim Dabang @hakrim_coffee has opened its door since 1956. Nothing much has been changed in the past 66 years.

The dark coloured wooden staircase leading all the way to the 2nd floor, the solid wood countertop, the huge collection of vinyl records behind the counter and the old-school cafe seating layout, everything screams retro in this space.

It was also the filming location for many popular K-dramas such as My Love From Another Star <별에서 온 그대>, The Hiers <상속자들>, Because This Is My First Life <이번 생은 처음이라>, Unstoppable High Kick <거침 없이 하이킥> etc.

Where did you watch your first sunrise of 2021? Located in Gangneung, Gangwon-do, #Jeongdongjin (#정동진) is a picturesque town with a train station closest to the ocean in the world.

The beach right behind the Jeongdongjin station is also a well-known sunrise spot. Sunrise spectators would take an overnight train to Jeongdongjin station on the new year’s eve for the first sunrise of the year.

Located at Jeollanam-do Province, the Boseong Green Tea Field (보성 녹차밭) is another beautiful place to visit after a snowfall in Winter. Enjoy a tranquil walk and soak in the picturesque landscape at Daehan Dawon (대한 다원), the largest green tea plantation in the country as the snow turned the plantation white. Do note that the plantation closes at 5 pm daily during winter.
